Pringle 2024-25 Supply List

Welcome to the 24/25 Pringle school year. Please see the grade list below for supplies needed. If you need assistance with supplies, please reach out to the main office at (503) 399-3178 for support. Thank you!

Kindergarten Supply List

(Names on the supplies is not necessary.) 

• One standard size backpack is required. Student name should be written in it.
• Names on the supplies is not necessary.
• 4 Boxes Crayola 24 count crayons (the washable ones are prone to break easy!) (No jumbo sized!) We will refresh crayons as needed.
• ½ inch 3 ring binder with clear plastic sleeve cover.  
• 10-12 Elmer glue sticks (no liquid glue) We will store these and provide children a glue stick to keep in their supply box.
• 1 box of tissue
• 12 Ticonderoga standard sized #2 pencils (Sharpened) We will store these and provide children with pencils to keep in their supply box. (please NO click pencils!)
• Skinny EXPO black dry-erase markers
• 1 Box of skinny Crayola Markers
• 2 packages of HUGGIES unscented baby wipes (Sorry this is specific but a district requirement!)
• 1 Set of headphones. Wired!!!! And Volume limited for safety!  No earbuds! Please label with child’s name. 

Optional for Kindergarten

These are items that we use in the classroom and if you would like to include them in your child's supply shopping; they will be used and very appreciated.

• Colored pencils
• Gallon sized plastic baggies with the tab for zipping. (little fingers can independently close the bags)
• Sandwich baggies with zipper
• Napkins/paper towels
• Please bring supplies with you on your child's first day of school.

1^st Grade Supply List

Each child will need:

• Backpack large enough to hold a 10 x 12 folder
• 24 #2 Ticonderoga sharpened pencils
• 2 boxes of 24 count Crayola Crayons
• 1 pair of Fiskars scissors
• 12 glue sticks
• 1 box of kleenex
• 1 box of 10 count Broad Line Crayola markers
• One package of baby wipes, fragrance free
• 1 pair of headphones (headphones at school will be returned to you at the end of the Year no earbuds marked with name.)

Optional for 1^st Grade

• Class Snack (crackers, pretzels, etc.)
• 1 box of Ziploc Storage Bags, gallon or sandwich size
• Water bottle- pop-top or straw preferred
• One package of paper plates, paper bowls, napkins or dixie cups

2nd Grade Supply List

(Name brands are recommended for quality.)

Each child will need:

• 2 packs of #2 pencils (Ticonderoga and Pre-sharpened Preferred)
• 3 boxes of 24 count Crayola crayon
• 2 boxes of colored pencils
• 1 package of Crayola markers
• 2 pair of scissors
• 2 boxes of Kleenex
• 2 packages of glue sticks
• 2 Composition notebook (wide ruled, no fancy covers)
• 1 pack of sandwich or quart size Ziplock bags
• 2 containers of baby wipes
• Water bottle, non-spill lid if possible
• 1 pair of headphones (No earbuds and label with name)
• 1 extra set of headphones
• 4 pink erasers
• 1 box Expo dry erase markers
• 1 ruler with inches and centimeters

Optional for 2nd Grade

• 1 set of watercolor paints
• Extra set of headphones
• Ziplock Bags- gallon
• Pencil Box (Not bag)

Third Grade Supply List

(Name brands are recommended for quality.) 

Each child will need:

• Backpack
• 1 pair Headphones (Please no Bluetooth headphones, must be corded.)
• 1 box of 24 Crayola Crayons
• 1 pack 10 Crayola Markers
• 1 binder (1-½ in, white, clear view covers) Merritt Only 
• 2 supply boxes  (8 3/8" L x 5 5/8" W x 2 1/8" H)
• #2 Pencils – two packages (Ticonderoga Preferred) sharpened
• 1 pack of Crayola colored pencils (24)
• 1 pack of Prang Watercolors
• 1 pack of glue sticks (regular or giant)
• 2 box of Kleenex
• 2 packages unscented Huggies baby wipes
• 1 box of Ziploc style bags (gallon size, quart or sandwich)
• 1 pack Pencil tip erasers
• 1 set Avery 5 Multicolor Tab Insertable Dividers Merritt Only 

Teachers may request a few additional supplies specific to their classroom. 

Grade 4 Supply List 

REQUIRED (**priority items) for Grade 4

• Headphones or earbubs  
• 24   #2 pencils – sharpened
• 1 set of colored pencils (12 or 24)
• 1 box of 24 crayons
• 1 pair of scissors (pointed end preferred)
• 3 glue sticks
• 1 box of facial tissues
• 2 pink erasers
• 1 package of wide ruled notebook paper

Optional for Grade 4

• Wireless/ USB mouse
• 1 package of marker
• 1 composition book
• Wipes for cleaning desks (unscented)
• Paper towels
• Additional wide ruled notebook paper package
• Additional box of facial tissues
• 1 box of Ziploc bags (sandwich, quart, or gallon)
• Dry erase markers (in fun colors) for the classroom.

 Fifth Grade Supply List

REQUIRED for 5th Grade

• Earbuds or headphones-this is a MUST HAVE
• Pencil box for the following items:
• #2 pencils (24 or more) sharpened
• 6 glue sticks
• 1 package of 10 fine tip markers
• 1 package of 24 colored pencils
• 2 packages of wide rule notebook paper
• 1 composition book-lined for writing
• Scissors-Must fit inside pencil box
• 1 box of Kleenex
• Highlighters- 2 different colors
• Pencil sharpener with shavings catcher-MUST fit in pencil box
• Pink pearl eraser
• 1 package of pencil top erasers

Optional for 5th Grade

• Unscented wipes
• Other supplies may be requested from your classroom teacher.
